Bethany A. Stokes's practice involves trademark prosecution, licensing, and advising in mergers and acquisition transactions with respect to intellectual property matters. With a focus on assisting clients in the selection, clearance and prosecution of trademarks worldwide, Bethany counsels clients on all aspects of procurement and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including domestic and international trademarks.
Bethany also focuses her practice on technology licensing, including negotiating and drafting of licensing, joint venture, collaboration and other intellectual property related agreements. Additionally, Bethany works on intellectual property transactional matters, including conducting intellectual property due diligence investigations in M&A transactions. This includes drafting and negotiating intellectual property provisions in transaction documents, reviewing, drafting and negotiating intellectual property related agreements and counseling on all other intellectual property related issues. She frequently works with clients in the information technology, financial services and life sciences industries.
